OTC+ Initiative: Ohio Technical Center Plus

Expanding Access. Building Pathways. Creating Opportunities.

Ohio Technical Center Plus (OTC+) is a statewide initiative designed to expand access to career-technical education (CTE). By creating new ways for students to engage in training, OTC+ ensures that high school juniors and seniors can pursue high-demand, industry-recognized credentials even when traditional opportunities are limited by location, scheduling, or capacity.

Why OTC+ Matters

  • Flexible Learning: Evening-based course options fit into busy schedules.

  • Zero Cost to Students: Programs are fully funded through CTE, removing financial barriers.

  • College & Career Ready: Courses provide industry credentials, dual credit opportunities, and direct pathways into post-secondary education and the workforce.

  • Stronger Workforce: By connecting education with healthcare employers like O’Neill Healthcare, students step directly into real career opportunities.
